Hi. My name is Shelley and I've been doing various forms of "crafting" for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a kid, I wanted nothing more than to have a "craft room" with various supplies - like my own craft store.
I enjoy painting, clay, drawing, and paper crafts. My favorite is anything having to do with paper. I love paper! I find cutting paper to be very relaxing.
I stay at home with my two sons and home school them. That takes up the better part of my day, but my free time is spent doing SOME sort of 'art' or 'craft'.
It's my dream to one day make money doing what I love, but for now, doing what I love for the sake of doing it, will have to do.
People tell me all the time I should turn what I call "boredom" into a way to make money. I just like making stuff, should I really charge for keeping myself busy? But the question has always been, how do I market my things? No way I can afford a booth or kiosk at a craft show. The local flea market maybe? Doubtful.
